The Beckmann OS operating system

Right from the start the philosophy behind our solutions has focussed on one goal: the continuous development of our own Beckmann OS operating system. This system delivers the highest possible degree of stability and reliability. In this way we make use of our own expertise and avoid the potential weaknesses of well-known operating systems such as Windows or Linux. Our operating system is unaffected by viruses and other malware programs - safety from which you, the customer, benefit. Beckmann OS aims specifically at the special requirements of payment processes and is thus able to offer a high level of efficiency in all operating processes. Due to the total transparency of all operating processes we can respond immediately when technical defects have to be identified and evaluated.

In addition to the operating system we also use quality hardware produced in-house. Ranging from the layout of circuit boards to their development and entire construction and manufacture - we provide perfectly integrated systems. This ensures long-term availability of components and spare parts. In addition, our complete vertical manufacturing range enables us to implement special solutions quickly and individually. Remote service by ethernet link
Many of our components have an ethernet interface to enable data exchange with other participants in the local network. Remote administration and diagnosis of our devices (remote service) is made possible by a DSL/ISDN connection. Except for a web browser and FTP client no special programs are required for communication - it doesn't get any more convenient than this.

 

EMS BUS system

The EMS BUS (electronic coin-operated BUS system) has been especially developed by Beckmann GmbH and enables digital communication between all components of the EMS product series. It consists of an information interface generated by a microprocessor to switch, display and control all the various devices.
In this way up to 28 EMS machines can be linked in a network without having to change the structure of the machines. It consists of a so-called two-wire bus, i.e. only a two-strand cable is required to connect all components. The required devices (e.g. EMS-335) can thus be sited flexibly and installed without major effort. The extensive selection of accessories ranges from a simple remote display to switching modules and a TV interface for a salon overview (e.g. tanning salon).
